Joivan is a multi-hyphenate talent whose success spans acting, producing, writing, and business entrepreneurship.
As a visionary, Joivan co-founded the Wall of Comedy over 12 years ago with his creative and business partner, Percelle Ascott, building on the momentum of their breakout online comedy series, ‘Mandem on the Wall.’
Their ambition for Wall of Comedy was clear: to establish a digital media powerhouse that creates opportunities for emerging content creators and produces youth-driven entertainment programming. Today, that vision has transformed into the award-winning Wall of Entertainment, where Joivan’s leadership and creativity have been instrumental in its evolution. As a key force behind the company, Joivan has expanded its offerings to include a full-scale creative and production house, talent management, and social media marketing services. The company collaborates with globally recognised brands and the UK’s leading talents, producing hit shows and digital campaigns that continue to grab audiences’ attention and achieve millions in views.
Joivan’s contributions extend deeply into the company’s most popular projects, where he has taken on roles as a creator, executive producer, and occasionally as a performer. His early passion for writing and producing paved the way for notable projects, including BBC3’s The JPD Show, which he co-created with Percelle and Dee Kaate, as well as The Weekend Movie (Netflix) and Rapman’s viral hit Shiro’s Story.
Joivan currently heads Wall of Entertainment’s scripted film division, overseeing a diverse slate of long-form and short-form films and collaborating closely with industry creatives on the company’s drama and comedy projects. Beyond Wall of Entertainment, Joivan’s entrepreneurial spirit has led him to co-found Plus1, an exclusive networking members club headquartered in L.A. As an acclaimed actor, Joivan boasts an impressive array of credits across theatre, film, and television, including EastEnders and Doctor Who (BBC), Doom Patrol (Warner Bros), Bel-Air (Peacock), The First Purge (Blumhouse), and Teen Titans (DC), establishing him as a versatile talent in the entertainment industry.
