The duo achieved massive success in the UK music scene, breaking records with their mixtape Young Kingz in 2013, which became the highest-charting UK album by an unsigned act at the time. Their blend of rap and grime has produced multiple hits, with their album The Long Way Home reaching the UK Top 10, led by the single “Freak of the Week.”
Beyond music, Konan and Krept have also expanded into business, launching the restaurant Crepes & Cones and creating the BBC show The Rap Game UK. Konan’s personal life has also been marked by tragedy, including the loss of his stepfather in 2011. Despite these hardships, Konan has remained a key figure in UK rap, influencing the scene through both his music and community efforts.
