Black Excellence shone brightly at this year’s Powerful Media Awards, honouring the remarkable achievements of Black Britons across industries.

Wall of Entertainment founders Joivan Wade, Percelle Ascott, and Managing Director Tafara Makopa joined the celebration, representing our team at this extraordinary event dedicated to the trailblazing men and women of African, African Caribbean, and African American descent who are changing the landscape in tech, sports, entertainment, Business, finance, and beyond.

Attending for the second year, this event held special significance for us at Wall of Entertainment. We secured a spot on the influential “Top 100” list once again and received the prestigious Business of the Year Award, sponsored by BP.

We’re deeply honoured by this recognition among other pioneering businesses, which speaks to the relentless dedication and vision that fuels our work. Joivan and Percelle founded Wall of Entertainment 12 years ago, driven by a vision to transform the UK’s entertainment scene through accessible, innovative, and talent-led content.

Today, under their leadership and with Taf as our MD, Wall of Entertainment proudly operates as a Black-owned powerhouse, producing content for digital platforms, TV, and film. Our diverse team of creatives, producers, designers, editors, marketers, and social media experts continues redefining content creation’s boundaries.
