Percelle Ascott has built an impressive career as an actor and entrepreneur in both the entertainment and business worlds.
Recognised for his impact, he was named on the prestigious JP Morgan Powerlist of the 100 Most Influential Black Britons for two consecutive years in 2024 and 2025.
In 2015, Percelle co-founded Wall of Comedy with fellow actor and business partner Joivan Wade, which has since evolved into Wall of Entertainment, an award-winning production, talent management, and social marketing powerhouse. The company collaborates with top global brands and talent, reshaping entertainment for youth audiences and delivering high-impact content across digital platforms.
As one of the company’s CEOs, Percelle plays a central role, overseeing all productions as an executive producer and actively contributing to the development of new projects. His creative and business acumen can be seen in works such as Shiro’s Story, Netflix’s What Would You Do sketches, Talk That Talk for Prime Video, and a range of FootAsylum Youtube series. He also wrote and produced the critically acclaimed short film Joy and co-stars in Stance, an upcoming boxing drama he co-developed with Wade.
Beyond his work at Wall of Entertainment, Percelle has appeared in prominent productions, including the BBC’s Doctor Who and Amazon Prime’s Tin Star. He has shared the screen with icons like David Walliams and Matt Lucas and starred as co-lead in the BFI-funded feature The Weekend Movie. In 2023, he took on a lead role in the Netflix hit I Came By, opposite Kelly Macdonald, Hugh Bonneville, and George MacKay. Percelle also starred in Netflix’s supernatural thriller The Innocents and BBC’s Domino Day, showcasing his range and depth as an actor.
